OKAY, FAM. LET’S GET INTO IT.
We’re doing things a little differently this time around.Instead of our traditional monthly list, we’re going page by page, brand by brand, highlight by highlight through the catalog and calling out the things that have caught my eye — the stuff I’m excited about, the things I think are worth circling, and a few things I’m already plotting to get my hands on.
Basically, these are my picks. GM Joe’s personal “you should probably check this out” list and circle away!
And honestly? There’s A LOT to pick from.
This is only our second-ever Chiappetta catalog, and we packed a whole lot into this one. New brands. Old favorites. Weird little gems. Things you might completely miss if you just flip through the pages once. And yes, we somehow managed to make this thing 60 pages long.
Sixty. Pages. So rather than pretending I can squeeze all of that into one monthly list, we’re splitting this bad boy into two parts.
Think of it as your unofficial tour guide through the catalog. I’ll point out what I’m loving, you decide what deserves a circle, and hopefully by the end you’ve got a few things you’re excited to come check out in the store.
So grab your catalog, start flipping, and let’s see what’s worth getting excited about.
Come on. The one. The only. Birkenstock. The Boston Soft Footbed in Taupe Suede is the classic for a reason, while the Buckley Braided in Carafe Suede gives that clog a little extra personality — because apparently even a Birkenstock can accessorize.
The Zermatt Shearling in Mauve is basically a warm hug for your feet, with wool felt and genuine shearling lining. The Papillio Paris in Gray Taupe Suede takes things in a dressier direction with a T-bar Mary Jane silhouette and 30mm platform. And the Highwood Chelsea in Tobacco Oiled Leather brings Birkenstock comfort to a proper Chelsea boot, with a removable Deep Blue Footbed and natural-rubber outsole.
Five styles, five different personalities. Pick your poison — or, you know, circle all five.
Here’s a pairing that’s easy on literally — but you’re probably not going to want to take them off. Kizik brings the hands-free magic with the Monaco in White/Black, Athens 2 Knit in Naval Academy, and the Freedom Hike in Brown/Windward Blue. The Freedom Hike is the big wild card: waterproof, trail-ready, cushioned with VivaFoam, and hands-free — because apparently hiking boots needed to get easier, too.
And then there’s Haflinger. The AT in Natural keeps things classic, while the GZ in Spruce is a brand-new color for us. Spruce? How piney. 🌲 And yes, the GZ comes in men’s sizing, because we wouldn’t want to leave the gents out. Easy on. Easy off. Kizik for the go-go-go, Haflinger for the slow-down-and-get-cozy.
Okay ladies, we’re getting dressy, sophisticated, and just a little bit European here. Josef Seibel brings the Charlotte 17 in Bordo and Miley 01 in Chocolate Suede, while Pikolinos brings that unmistakable Spanish design sensibility with the Utiel in Ceniza, San Sebastian in Black, and Deva in Caoba — rich leathers, warm colors and beautifully considered details.
This is our dressy uppy section. The shoes for when the sneakers stay home, the outfit gets a little more olé 🇪🇸, and you’re ready for dinner, drinks or whatever fancy thing you’ve got going on. Polished without being stuffy, comfortable without looking like you tried too hard.
Taos is here for the ladies who want their shoes to look good AND treat their feet right — imagine that! The Crave in Classic Black and Mini Crave bring that easy, everyday versatility, while the Uptown in Dark Brown gives us a little more polish. And yes, the Brown and Charcoal Mini Craves pictured are already spoken for — apparently we weren’t the only ones who liked those colors - but we’ve got em in Red, Cognac and Bllack!
Then there’s the Banter in Navy Leather and Chit Chat in Caramel Leather, bringing soft leather, supportive foot-friendly features and plenty of personality. Cute, comfortable and actually designed with your feet in mind — Taos understood the assignment.
A little European style, a little American practicality, and a whole lot of well-made shoe. The 72617 Pearl in Nougat, 74857 Ornella in Ocean, 45973 Angela in Bordeaux, D3U73 in Chestnut and D0700 Maditta in Antique bring plenty of personality, comfort and everyday versatility.
And a nice bonus: select styles go up to size 43, with some reaching 44. Stylish, comfortable and built to actually get somewhere.
And folks… we’re only 20 pages in. That wraps up Round 1, but there’s a LOT more to come.
Stay tuned for more, and start circling, starring and cutting out your favorites so far. You know the drill. 😉
